Compass Support Youth Mentoring

We offer bespoke mentoring for young people who need additional support in any area of their lives.

Life can be hard for all of us at times; we don’t always have the answers and in sometimes we may not have the support we need. Here at Compass Support, we always strive to help people reach their true potential, which is why we are committed to delivering a programme that improves social, emotional and mental health.

Mentoring is a way of offering personal support, encouragement and inspiration to young people. There are many benefits to having a mentor including an increase in confidence & resilience, improved health & wellbeing, and feeling more in control of your emotions. Using RCADS screening tools we can focus on key areas of concern and develop a strategy that is tailor-made to each young person that accesses the service. This then provides the individuals with the tools to address problems positively going into adult life.

Offering both confidential one-to-one sessions and group sessions, we address issues such as behaviours, anger management and positive relationships in an open and safe environment. We can also provide mediation sessions with teachers and parents upon request.
This free of charge programme is a source of support for young minds between the ages of 10 and 18 to help lead richer lives both at school and home.
