Offering a wide range of activities to challenge resident’s routine and perception, this project aims to improve confidence and self-esteem through friendship & encouragement while taking part in crafts and activities. By delivering open and stimulating tasks, participants not only gain an array of skills and experience, but emotional support too from their team members.
Think Positive has a varied timetable of practical and theory-based activities that are all designed to boost skills and knowledge. Everyone is welcome and the whole group can participate in the planning and delivery of the events. Previous sessions have involved:
- Arts and crafts
- Exercise and relaxation
- Healthy eating classes
- Over 50’s first aid
