Compass Support invites locals to get festive!

Christmas has been a bit different in recent years, but The Pioneer Group’s charitable subsidiary, Compass Support, is putting on a range of activities for local residents to enjoy and safely connect with others during this festive time of year.

The fun-filled activities will help get all residents in the Christmas spirit, from children, to families, to older persons.

Thanks to hardworking volunteers making these events possible, here are just a few of the goings on in the Castle Vale and Falcon Lodge community. Keep an eye out for more events on our social media. We hope to see you there!

15 December – 1.30 – 3.00pm: Community Christmas sing-a-long!

Time to break out those Christmas crackers and come carol with the community! There will be mince pies, hot chocolate and a chance to see some friendly faces.

16 December – 10am – 4pm: Free Santa’s Grotto for children up to 5 years old.

Santa’s coming to Sutton Coldfield! Bring your children along to meet Father Christmas at our Stay and Play session and receive a free gift. There are 1-hour time slots with limited availability, so please contact 0121 752 1860 to book a space.

17 December – Christmas Toy Drive donations accepted until this date.

Drop-off locations: The Sanctuary, Castle Vale, B35 7PX and Falcon Lodge Community Hub B75 7LB.

Everyone deserves a magical Christmas, however, this time of year can also bring additional financial and emotional pressure. To support parents facing these challenges, we are looking for donations of new unopened toys for our Christmas Toy Drive – for local children in our community. If you can, please give a little to brighten up a child’s Christmas.

20 – 23 December – 9:30am – 1:30pm Christmas Play Days – 8 – 11 years old.

Falcon Lodge Community Centre

Keep those 8 -11-year-olds entertained at Falcon Lodge where our Christmas helpers are putting on three days of activities, games, arts and crafts. For more details and to book a space, call 0121 748 8111.
