‘Think Family’ Support Service
We aim to help family members understand one another’s needs and improve relationships by:
- offering one to one support for parents,
- giving children opportunities to talk about things that affect them,
- running parenting programmes and parenting support groups,
- liaising with schools and other organisations and
- developing and delivering a whole family action plan in partnership with the family over a 6 month period.
We offer support to families living in the B35 area or where a child attends a school within Castle Vale.

Family Compass Project
Over a 6 month period, our Family Coaches maximise a family’s opportunities to succeed through building resilience, developing practical life and parenting skills and enabling them to respond to issues affecting them on a day-to-day basis. Our coaches:
- work closely with families to help them through their areas of need,
- enable them to create bespoke solutions through wider wrap-around provision
- intervene early in order to prevent issues from escalating into crisis.
Through developing and delivering a goal-focussed action plan, coaches empower family members to meet their goals and objectives. Support is offered to families living in the Falcon Lodge estate or where a child attends school within that area.

School Support Service
Working within schools in Birmingham and North Warwickshire, we provide packages of family support interventions for families that have been identified by the school as in need of bespoke support. These may be required due to a number of issues such as attendance, parenting, or a breakdown in communication between home and school etc.
Such issues will be impacting on the child’s ability to engage in learning, so we will work on a support plan to reduce problems and improve household resilience. We work in partnership with the families and the school to ensure that the children are getting the very best from their experience at school and at home. (link to pdf leaflet)
