Compass Support is working in partnership with West Midlands Combined Authority to help local communities get involved in volunteering at the Commonwealth Games 2022!

The Commonwealth Games bring nations together in a colourful celebration of sport and human performance. Underpinned by the core values of humanity, equality and destiny, the Games aim to unite the Commonwealth family through a glorious festival of sport.

The event is predicted to create thousands of volunteering and job prospects and the Stand Out programme aims to help link local, young people directly to these opportunities to support their wider training & employment ambitions.

All residents aged 18-30 are welcome to apply and will receive end to end support including:

  • One to one engagement about future goals
  • Identifying new ways to develop skills and potential
  • Support with applications for employment, training and volunteering opportunities
  • Tailored support before, during and after the Commonwealth Games to ensure positive progression for all participants
